I recently needed to remove/replace a rather small snap ring in my old Shimano XTR brake levers which is placed deeply enough that most snap ring pliers can't reach it. The smallest straight nose plier here did the job. I like how this set of pliers is clearly labeled as to which is which, and how there are plastic covers for the tips to protect them in storage and keep them from getting caught on things. Other high end pliers I've purchased from Knipex do not come with this protective bit of tubing. I cannot at this time speak to durability, but they certainly look to be forged well. Having a range of sizes and tip orientations like this set has, if you have the budget for it, will certainly save time when you need to find something that can access a ring and is less fiddly than swapping out or even modifying replaceable tips.Herramientas muy útiles para el taller.Great tool, excellent for different works in bikesTried other and cheaper snap ring pliers, which wouldn't work for my Rock Shox Monarch, returned those and got this set, which did the job.Solidly built but with the finely tuned details to make them work in the most precise ways. You'll probably not ever need all of the included products but you won't have to guess through trial and error for the ones you do need.
