I recently needed to remove/replace a rather small snap ring in my old Shimano XTR brake levers which is placed deeply enough that most snap ring pliers can't reach it. The smallest straight nose plier here did the job. I like how this set of pliers is clearly labeled as to which is which, and how there are plastic covers for the tips to protect them in storage and keep them from getting caught on things. Other high end pliers I've purchased from Knipex do not come with this protective bit of tubing. I cannot at this time speak to durability, but they certainly look to be forged well. Having a range of sizes and tip orientations like this set has, if you have the budget for it, will certainly save time when you need to find something that can access a ring and is less fiddly than swapping out or even modifying replaceable tips.
